Asset Control Area Housing Rehabilitation
This unique program in Reading, Pennsylvania purchased and rehabilitated deteriorated housing stock and resold it to inner city residents of low and moderate income. The program received a “Best Practices” award from the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in 2000.
This lease/purchase project enabled tenants to accumulate funds for down payments on the properties they leased for terms up to three years.
CIDC financed the construction of two multi-million dollar projects – Pavilion on James in Syracuse, New York and Integrated Care Community in Moreno Valley, California.
CIDC’s subsidiary, RC Housing I, LLC, is the developer that converted a Best Western Hotel into a dormitory for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York (The Blitman Residential Facility).
