What We Do
CIDC offers consulting services to governmental entities and non-profit corporations for the purpose of stimulating economic development and creating affordable housing. We also are developers of projects that alleviate the burdens of local government and administer various loan programs.
CIDC assists in funding approximately $600 million in projects annually.

CIDC fulfills its mission by providing consulting services in the economic development and affordable housing development arenas to governmental and nonprofit clients. CIDC is a 501-c-3 nonprofit corporation chartered in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1992.
Meet The Staff
This month we feature our staff member of the month, CIDC’s administrative officer, Mary Ann Loewenstein. In September of 1999, Ms. Loewenstein became CIDC’s administrative officer. Her responsibilities include monitoring administrative operations; liaison to the Board of Directors; human resource management; oversight of HUD compliance issues; management of accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
